Defrazzle Your Home Business

Authored By Darlene Hull

A Defrazzled Home Business

"I've got all the money I'll ever need if I die by four o'clock this afternoon."

- Henry Youngman. -

You can retire in 30 days – WE PROVE IT TO YOU! Make $1.7 million! Signup for free!
$5,250 is Guaranteed with no efforts!

The Internet is the modern "Gold Rush". Seems that everyone on the Internet is promising you vast riches with little to no effort. But are these outrageous claims true? Can you make $5,250 is Guaranteed with no efforts?

Well, I do believe the Internet is a phenomenal asset to those who want to make some money with less effort and financial investment than with a traditional home business. Can you lounge around all day in your underwear doing nothing and be a millionaire by the end of the year? Not likely. However, if you did want to try your hand at a successful Internet career, take some tips from someone who's been there, done that, and has the scars to prove it. Here's my hard-won, 5-step-plan for financial success on the Internet.

Step one: Find Some Adventurous, Business-Minded Soul Mates.

Get at least two companions (five is best!) who will walk with you enthusiastically, and build your business together. Having a couple of friends with you on the journey helps to keep everyone sane, and it's a built in safety net for keeping you from investing in crazy schemes that would never tempt you during a moment of sanity. Friends can also cheer you on through the necessary slogging at the beginning, and then they're there to celebrate your success at the end.

Step Two: Create Your "Cash Machine"

There's an old adage that says, "It takes money to make money" and, unfortunately, it's true – mostly. Therefore, according to Loral Langemeier, the Author of the excellent book "Making Millionaires" – first you have to learn how to run a business that makes money. You don't have to enjoy it, but it does have to make money – even just a little, and fast! You use this first step to teach you how an Internet business works and to develop the right suite of tools and knowledge to gain a solid foundation.

Step Three: Build Multiple Streams of Income

When your first business is up and running, don't simply burn through the money. Use half of the profits to advertise, and half of your profits to invest in the next business(es). Keep building until you have a solid core of different businesses running under you. This brings stability. If you're wise, you will also be carefully investing in businesses that will give you great tools for running and advertising your businesses, as well as investing in courses that train you in the various areas of online marketing: traffic, copywriting, list building, etc. You must learn to use your profits wisely as even stable companies can sometimes go under.

Step Four: Automate it.

It is possible to run a completely functional business on 2-3 hours a day – or less – by simply automating the more routine activities. Again, there's nothing like the Internet for providing automated systems.

Step Five: Develop Your Passion

So now you've got some real money coming in with an automated system. You can either stay there, or you can take your new knowledge and learn to apply it to your area of greatest passion – creating a business that you LOVE. Simply find a need in an area of your passion (scrapbooking, fly fishing, old cars, fashion, etc.) and use the skills you've developed so far to set up a business in that area and let it take you on a wonderful ride!

So, can you make $1.7 million dollars? Yes, you can, but it's not going to be as easy as they tend to promise. You do need to know what you're doing, and it will take time.

And what better time to try it out than over the summer when things tend to be a bit slower?

Want to join the adventure?

The Shocking Truth on Overnight Success

Authored By Douglas Titchmarsh

Overnight success seems to be happening to a lot of other people all the time.

A new popstar arrives in a blaze of glory and is an instant success. A hotshot businessman or online marketer suddenly appears, telling how they are raking in millions.

So how come you aren't an overnight success?

Why are you still working so hard at your business, your career or whatever else your personal view of success maybe?

Well here's the shocking truth about becoming an overnight success....
It doesn't happen overnight. Take some time out and lookup some of the apparent overnight success stories, and you'll find a common theme running along all of their stories.

Almost without exception they were all working hard, exactly the same way you are, for some time before they acheived "overnight success".

Read or watch interviews with popstars who have suddenly appeared and you'll find they were playing small gigs, knocking on talent agents doors, entering contests for years before they were discovered.

The highflying business owner or "new internet marketing guru" has a string of failures behind him or her preceding that one big breakthrough which launched them to guru status and the big earnings.

Dig even deeper and you'll find one other thing these success stories all have in common, they didn't give up.

Sure they suffered knockbacks, failures and losses before they hit the bigtime and became known as an overnight success, but they kept getting back up and trying again.

So if you want to be the next "overnight success" you may have to work at it for a while, but most of all you'll have to make sure you never give up.

People Just Don't Answer

Authored By William Nabaza

People Just Don't Answer

Same old story. You sent an email to someone you thought would be interested to do your project and also would be interested for an additional client, but they didn't answer.

You blame the person on the other line but you need to understand there are things that hindered him from answering your email rapidly.

These are the following:

1. They spend hours sorting thru requests trying to send more info quickly. They are overwhelmed by the email messages they're receiving.

2. They spend even more hours entering prospects addresses into a database.

3. They're busy handling prospects call complaining they never received the information they requested.

4. They're trying to remember which prospect received which follow up letter.

5. Since they're doing it manually, they cannot accommodate hundreds of potential customers due to ineffective follow up and tracking.

Eventually, with fewer customers you lose profits and eventually lose your business.

How can we cope up with avalance of email messages thronging our inbox?

The answer is for you to have you're own autoresponder.

What is an autoresponder?

An autoresponder is a program that runs on a web server to automatically send a reply to the email address that sent mail to it. They are also often called infobots, autobots, automailers, and responders.

Now, let's talk about the importance of an autoresponder:

It's been known to marketing industry researchers that your average prospect need to be exposed to your messages is up to at least 7 times to become a motivated buyer!

That's called "rule of seven" which has been taught in business schools for years.

Did you put that "rule of seven" securely inside your head?

Statistics show that average conversion rate from visitors to buyers is less than 1%!

An autoresponder offers you the ability to send your sales letter, catalog, price list, press release, brochure, newsletter, job list, technical data, spec sheet, instructions, ordering info, or anything else you would send a prospect, ON DEMAND when they want it.

Plus..

1. Immediate response to your potential customers' inquiries, which means increased sales.

2. Online reports of clients requesting information.

3. Very cost effective, relative to telephone or faxed information.

4. You can file and fill requests 24 hours a day, even while your on vacation.

5. Instant information on demand and delivered within usually seconds.

6. You have total control over your responder through a password protected web site.

7. You can update your AutoResponder text yourself easily, anytime you wish.

8. Your AutoResponder tracks and logs, "Who and When," relative to information requested and then the AutoResponder will send you a daily log of this information.

9. The ability to "capture" people's email addresses by asking them to send for more info by email while they are visiting your web site.

10. In "Today's Information Age" the name of the game is automatic and fast. Visitors from your site don't want to receive a package of info delivered to their house. They don't even want a brochure. What they want is detailed information delivered to their email boxes right now right there. With an autoresponder, anyone world wide can retrieve their needed information anytime and for free.

Top 10 Tips For Generating Big Traffic To Your Blog Today

Authored By Ewen Chia

Let's face it, blogs (or weblogs) are getting incredibly popular amongst people with an internet connection due to the ease and practicality of setting one up.

Despite this however, there is no value in having a blog if no one is visiting and reading it!

Therefore, it is important to know exactly how to drive traffic to your blog if you desire to increase your readership or monetize it.

To do that, here are 10 quick tips to generating more traffic to your blogs:

Tip 1: Reciprocal Linking

One of the most proven ways to gain targeted traffic is to exchange links with other bloggers or site owners. This is a task which requires a little work – by sending an email request for a link exchange with a few follow ups but the results are worth it.

Another linking method is to simply write a testimonial for a product you have purchased. If your testimonial is good, product owners will usually publish it on their sales page with your blog URL included.

If you want to skip the traditional way of exchanging links and go for the easier way, you can automate the process with various software and services found on the net. Just do a search at Google.com and you will have a list of these.

Tip 2: Blog Commentaries

Do you know that your comments also have high potential in generating targeted traffic to your blog and is an effective linking strategy?

All you have to do is find a blog related to your niche and post your comments. At the end of your comments you can include a link back to your blog, this way people who are interested will be able to visit your blog as well. However you should never misuse this to spam other blogs.

Tip 3: Blog Directories

Blog directories are similar to search engines just that they cater only to searches for blogs. It is advisable to submit your blog to the major directories, some of which include feedster.com, technorati.com and blogstreet.com.

Similarly, there are many blog services like pingomatic.com which you can use to ping your blog. Pinging your blog notifies the service that you've updated your blog. These services will then publish your new posts and you get traffic from interested readers and search engines.

Tip 4: Writing Articles

This is one of the best ways of pulling targeted, steady and long-term traffic to your blog. By writing your own articles and submitting them to article directories, you can invite a lot of targeted visitors to your blog.

In order to generate traffic by writing articles, you need to include your resource box at the end of every article you have written. The resource box is where you promote and introduce your website or blog.

To truly maximize your results, you need a system to create, submit and leverage off your articles easily. One of the best available is seen at http://EzineArticle.com/aa.htm

Tip 5: Writing Press Releases

Press release is a very effective way of generating instant traffic to your blog. Although press releases only pull in short-term traffic, they can work very well if you continuously write and submit press releases regularly while monetizing the traffic received.

PRWeb.com is one of the oldest and most trusted sources for news distribution on the web. Or you can use an automated press release service like http://www.SubmitYourPressRelease.com to do the work for you quickly.

Tip 6: Start A Blog Mailing List

The phrase "the money is in the list" is true in all businesses. If you want to succeed online, you must start building your own list of targeted subscribers. You can send your subscribers to your blog anytime you have new posts.

By the same token, you can also get your blog readers to subscribe to a 'blog update' list which can be used to notify them when you have updated your blog. REPEAT traffic through returning visitors is a key traffic strategy and you can control that with this method.

Tip 7: Publishing Your Own Ezine

You can also provide your subscribers with useful information in several series with an autoresponder. An ezine is often called an online magazine. By publishing your own ezine, you are able to attract readership to your blog when you advertise it in your ezine.

Tip 8: Pay For Traffic

If you have a good monetization strategy for your blog through affiliate programs, Google Adsense and a mailing list, you should consider using paid advertising to drive traffic to your blog.

Recommended options include pay-per-click advertising, ezine advertising and huge banner exposures.

Tip 9: Giving Out Free Reports

Give out free viral reports to promote your blog. Providing useful information in your free reports can trigger your readers' interest to know more about you and your websites. More information on this tactic can be found at http://www.MiniEbook.com.

Tip 10: Niche Discussion Boards

Discussions boards or forums can deliver targeted traffic to your blog. If you have a blog about gardening, try searching for a related niche forum with huge traffic to participate in.

Most forums will usually allow you to include a signature file where you can write a few sentences of words. You can invite people to visit your blog through the signature file by posting more regularly.

In conclusion, realize that getting traffic to your blog should not be viewed as a one time effort. Commit and focus on a long-term strategy in order to succeed. It is all about gaining momentum.

Once you get a decent amount of traffic to your blog, you will attract more visitors to it everyday as you work on it. As time goes by, you will have an amazing amount of traffic to your blog which you never thought was possible!

10 Reasons To Form A Strategic Business Alliance

Authored By Eugenijus Sakalauskas

A strategic alliance is when two or more businesses
join together for a set period of time. The businesses,
usually, are not in direct competition, but have similar
products or services that are directed toward the
same target audience. Below are ten reasons to
create a strategic alliance.

1. You could offer your customers a larger variety of
products or services. This will allow you to spend
less time and money developing new products to sell.

2. Your number of sales people will increase because
you're combining with other business. You won't have
spend to time and money hiring new employees.

3. Your marketing and advertising budget will increase.
When you form a strategic alliance with other businesses
you both will share the advertising and marketing costs.

4. You can now offer your existing customers more
back-end and upsell products. This will increase your
sales and profits.

5. Your business will gain a larger number of skilled
people working on the same project. You will gain
the knowledge of the other businesses employees.

6. You will be able to beat your competition by selling
to a larger target audience. You will also increase the
total number of existing customers you can sell your
products and services to.

7. You can exchange endorsements with your alliance
partners. You'll add more credibility to your business
and gain your potential customers trust to buy.

8. You can expand your business more rapidly. You
can develop new products and services faster with
a larger work force.

9. You'll be able to solve your customer's problems
faster with a larger base of customer service people.
You'll also learn new ways to improve your customer
service from your alliance partners.

10. You'll have a larger number of "strategic thinking"
people. This will allow both businesses to come up
with profitable business ideas quicker than before.

3 Web Promotion Tips

Authored By Amin Lalani

There was an era when people were talking about how to create a website using html coding or some easy tools to create attractive website in seconds. Today we are a level up, and we seek how to promote our website so that, the actual purpose of selling products or services could be attained by bringing more target visitors to the website.

There are basically two ways of doing web promotion i.e. paid and un-paid. Paid marketing brings quick results to the website whereas unpaid marketing brings slow response to the website but it is effective too. Now let's see how it works.

Before going into web promotion, first of all the website should be polished or SEO (Search engine optimization – optimizing website for search engine robot to crawl or read the website easily) so that, the major search engine robots can visit the website and update our web content.

Now let us see how this is done.

Step 1: Ensure each of the pages has Title, Keywords and Description. Here is the code that can be copy paste to the header of the web-pages.

Broadband

The coding above is a sample extracted from a small broadband website. The letters which is highlighted bold is the text that a site owner is required to input, the other texts are the coding that has to be placed as it is in header of a page.

Step 2: Once the title, keywords and description is done, the next step is to create a sitemap. Sitemap enables spider (spider : a robot from google, yahoo, altavista and other search engines that reads and store the content of the website in the search engine database) to read each and every page, see the example at: http://www.evision.com.pk/sitemap.html

These are some very basic steps, although there are many other steps like writing quality content, adding information and article to the website, etc which would bring good traffic to the website.

Step 3: Now after going through the above 2 steps the website is ready to get submitted to major search engines. Here are few links to submit the website for free in google, yahoo, dmoz and altavista

Once the site completes the above steps now there is a question that how to bring more traffic to the website. So as mentioned earlier, the 2 methods i.e. fast and paid method and slow but free method.

In fast promotional / paid method, keywords that people usually searched, for example to reach 1800flowers.com people would search for send flowers, send valentine flowers, etc in search engine, are listed and best of the listed are added to the yahoo, google and to other search engine accounts, these keywords are then placed on top when anyone search for it in the search engine. Each keyword starts at 10 cents per click and goes upwards. There are many other sites besides search engine, which offer paid advertisement solutions and they are good too for promoting the website. These are called paid advertisement.

Slow or free marketing is where a site can be promoted by maintaining the site as per marketing standards, for example site must have title, keywords and description; it must have relevant content originally written and not copied, it must have sitemap, it should also have article and news section that should be updated on regular basis, site should be submitted to various directories and search engines, and other relevant activities needs to be performed so that the site gets listed in search engine and acquire top position in search results.

JV Marketing - Affiliates in Disguise

Authored By Jim Hoffman

Jv marketing is one the most popular topics online these days.
The problem is that a joint venture should be just that. "joint"

Just offering an affiliate commission is not a true JV. Anyone can
go to Clickbank or PayDotCom and get high affiliate commissions for
promoting a product.

You must offer more to individuals to get a true and profitable JV.
Besides a higher commission on sales you should think about

- Giving the JV a free copy or access to your product or service
- Offering to promote a product of theirs to your list
- Placing a link or recommendation about their product or website
on your website
- Perhaps incorporating their advertisement with your product
(this will afford them a viral ad)
- Try offering to give a freebie to their list or give their list
a discount on your product.
- Give them pre written sales letters and graphics.

The basic idea is to make it hard for a potential JV partner to
say no. If your product is worthy and the JV partner makes some
cash working with you, they will most likely continue promoting
your product each week or month. The goal is to get them to say
yes to that first promotion.

In addition to the above - you must also contact your potential
JV partners carefully. Don't mass email them. Try and build a
relationship before asking to do a JV. Potential JV partners are
like anyone else - they don't want spammy emails and they don't
want to be sold on something each time they hear from you.

As always - don't put your eggs all in one basket. Try and JV with
several partners. This way if one says no - maybe the other 3 or 4
will say yes.

Keep It Simple!

Authored By Dwight Braswell

Hey Dreamers! (First of all, SMILE, you are on track to Reach Your Dreams!)

Recently it seems that everyone wants to get rich quick; the easier, the better. With over 50% of the population (in the US alone) turning to home-based businesses it seems that everyone is seeking a Dream. People want financial freedom the easy way and they want it now. People are constantly asking the experts-"HOW CAN I GET TO WHERE YOU ARE?" "WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE TO MAKE MY DREAMS COME TRUE?" The problem is that most people are afraid to Take Action once they figure out what they truly need to do. They are so afraid of failure or of rejection that they say to themselves "I don't really need to do this, I am content with what I have." In reality, they are not content, they are afraid to take the steps needed to create an extraordinary life for themselves and their family.

I believe, as Robert Allen has said that everyone has what it takes to reach their dreams. Someone, somewhere has the resources you need to get the job done and take you to the next step. The real question is; "are you passionate and hungry enough to search for those resources and put them to use when it is necessary?" If you struggle with these issues of laziness, doubt, hot and cold determination, lack of action, etc, it is my personal goal to help you over come these fears and emotions so that you can create a power inside of you that will drive you to your Dreams!

I believe that you can do anything you truly want to do. "HOW," you ask. First of all, you need to start asking the right question! The question is "WHY?" See, this simple question with help you develop a "motive," a "reason," strong enough for you to reach your Dreams. It is not about starting on the journey, it is about taking the next step and the next until you have REACHED what you set out to reach.

If there is one thing that is certain it is that you will face many failures and obstacles along the way. This is a great time for you to build yourself up and create even more power for your journey. Instead of being upset about failure, thrive on it; Look forward to it, embrace it, because it is a great opportunity for you to grow as a person and as an entrepreneur!

NEVER FEAR FAILURE, THRIVE OFF OF IT!

Learn to grow from it. When you fell off your bike the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time, did you give up? No, you got back on and got better every time you did it. You want to get to a place where no matter what happens, and I mean NO MATTER WHAT, you will take note of the situation and learn at least one important lesson from every fall!

Here are a few helpful hints on how to add Power to your Daily life!

•Find a small notebook that you can place right by your computer. EVERY time something you try doesn't work, open the notebook and write down what it was, WHY it didn't work and WHAT you can do differently the next time you face the situation. Be very detailed. (This will start creating a log in your mind of lessons that will make you stronger and wiser) This is an important step that you want to take on in every aspect of your life.

•Thrive on Failure because it is an opportunity to LEARN! Never stop learning!
•Be willing to take the extra step you don't think is necessary and always do the tasks you don't want to do FIRST!
•Go buy a package of post-it notes (I like the ones with lines) and each night write down a TO DO LIST for the next day. Here is how I do it: write "TO DO – FRIDAY (whatever day)" at the top. Then I list the simple tasks I need to do that day (one per line);
"laundry detergent"
"listen to tape"
"read one chapter"
"pick up dry cleaning"

And so on and so forth. Make it SO SIMPLE; that way you will do it every day. Put it on your desk or somewhere you will go each morning and then take it off the pad and take it with you everywhere you go. Mark off each task as you do it and I guarantee you will feel SO AMAZING that night when you have done everything you needed to do. If you didn't finish a task, put it on the next day's to do list. Since doing this, I have gone to sleep feeling so relaxed and at peace because I know that I am getting things done every day. It will become second nature. Remember to KEEP IT SIMPLE!

These are just a few key steps you can take on a daily basis to start living with POWER in your life. DO TAKE ACTION on these! No excuses. START RIGHT NOW – what do you have to do TOMORROW? Basic tasks to complicated ones- write it ALL down!

My greatest advice is to make things DETAILED, but SIMPLE. Yes, you want to reach your DREAMS, but you must make a detailed plan in order to get there. WHY, WHAT, HOW, right? The simple part comes in with your daily thoughts and tasks. Don't complicate things in your mind. Make the tasks simple ones that get you to the next level. If you can do this, you won't feel stressed or bothered, they will be fun and easy! Does this make sense? HAVE FUN! When you finish your SIMPLE "To Do" list, celebrate! I mean, really celebrate! Do something you have wanted to do, but didn't have the time (take your family or friends out, watch a movie) whatever it is, make it fun!

Basic Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

Authored By Eugenijus Sakalauskas

The following article lists some simple, informative tips
that will help you have a better experience with Affiliate.

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the
successful market that gives the biggest paycheck.
Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is
readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated
than that. It is just good marketing practices that have
been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online
marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate
marketing world of today. With these top three marketing
tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and
survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product
you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to
save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site
focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors
will have an initial understanding on what the product can
do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from
users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these
customers are more than willing to allow you to use their
names and photos on the site of the specific product you
are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product
and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the
pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the
information. Each headline should attract the readers to try
and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points.
This will help your readers to learn what the page is about
and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position
them at the very top side of your page so it they simply
cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages
that will be mailed to those who input their personal
information into your sign up box. According to research, a
sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone:
closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never
return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes
at certain specified period, you will remind them of the
product they thought they want later and will find out that
the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward
specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound
like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life
and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling
subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using
the word "free" because there are still older spam filters
that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even
anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for
your free reports that they will be missing something big
if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product.
Just think, if the person who visited your website has no
interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be
among those who move on and never come back. Write articles
for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can
locate publications that is focusing on your target customers
and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least
300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining
these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers
to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to
buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as
much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that
means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to
do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and
an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs.
You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving
in this business that not all marketers can do.
Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving…

Now that wasn't hard at all, was it? And you've earned a
wealth of knowledge, just from taking some time to study an
expert's word on Affiliate.

How To Avoid Hackers From Destroying Your Site

Authored By William Nabaza

How To Avoid Hackers From Destroying Your Site?

Recently, my site and other internet accounts were hacked maliciously for the purpose of getting all my online sales and transferring it to his/her account. I've learned a valuable lesson that I would like to share with you so as to avoid becoming the next victim for this hacker.

Steps to protect your web site:

1. Don't give out your username/password to anyone else.

Even if it's your own net/web/system admin. Chances are he/she already knows it for he/she can just login as admin to the control panel and look at your password.

2. Change your password once in a while.

It's better to write them down instead of saving them on a hard disk with insufficient firewall protection.

3. Don't use any word that can be found in dictionary or anything that signifies your birthdate, your street number to make it difficult for the hackers to guess.

4. Disable the "Forgot Password" utility on your site. This utility is very convenient to most end users, so fast that it gives out password so easy to for hackers to play with.

5. Make your password question / password answer (the one used to remind your forgotten password) difficult to guess. Treat it as a password. If anyone can just guess it, chances are hackers will start exploring with your account.

6. Make sure you are in constant contact with your web provider so they know your real identity and they can help you out as soon as there's hacking going on in your site.

7. Don't use any irc (internet relay chat) based chat system for it connects to ports 6660 to 6669. Hackers will exploit these ports and will upload trojan virus in your computer that can get your username/password on most of your accounts.

If you are going to use any irc chat system, don't even use it without the aid of psybnc or bnc. For more details and pricing of this tool, email: sales@nabaza.com with Subject: psybnc or go to http://www.nabaza.com/support.htm and post your request there.

8. Don't trust any email (even if it's an email message coming from your trusted friend) message that has .exe file attachment. Chances are it came from a malicious programmer and this .exe file already spreadand infected/duplicated in all email addresses in your addressbook including yours.

Cast Your Magic Spell On Business Audiences

Authored By Eric Garner

If you want to win over a business audience, you need to weave a magic spell on them. Here are 7 ways to do it.

1. Meet Their Needs. The quickest way to turn a business audience off is to deliver your presentation to suit you; conversely, the quickest way to turn them on is to deliver it to suit them.

Marketing agencies tell us that most audiences fall into four different types of people:
•Drivers. Busy people, they will want you to start and finish on time. They are interested in the bottom line.
•Expressives. Expressives warm to style and feeling. They want to feel good about your talk.
•Amiables. Amiables enjoy the chance for social interaction with you and others. They find it hard to sit quiet.
•Analyticals. Critics and cross-examiners, analyticals will only tune in to your arguments and facts.

Now all you have to do is deliver your presentation to appeal to every one of these types, or find out who the key decision makers are and deliver to them.

2. Charm Them. Some presenters manage to charm us with their manner and style and we believe they have a natural gift. But being able to charm an audience is a skill that can be learned.

The following are some of the ways to increase your charm rating:
•Look good: it shows you respect your audience
•Make up your mind to like them unconditionally
•Defer to them. "Don't underestimate an audience's intelligence or over-estimate their knowledge." (C.P.Scott)
•Be courteous and courtly. Acquire good manners and mannerisms; thank them for coming to see you.
•Find out enough about them so that you can drop light touches about them into your talk
•Pay them sincere compliments ("As experienced professionals, you will know...")
•Aim to be of service to them.

3. Stand Out. Being different means getting yourself noticed. Antony Jay describes this presentation in his book "Effective Presentations". An Army officer arranged to give a presentation on "Surprise in warfare". Once everyone had assembled, he announced his subject, placed a tiny squib on the table and took out his matches. Just as he was about to light the squib, his assistant let off a huge explosion at the back of the room. The audience immediately learnt three lessons about surprise in warfare: be aware of deception about time, place and the bang you expect.

4. Grab Their Attention. One way to think about an audience is to imagine that they are neutral, ie neither interested nor bored, but capable of being either. It is up to you to grab their attention.

One way to do this is to structure your talk around the mnemonic AIDA:
•Attention-grabbing opener
•Interest-inducing follow up
•Desire-creating middle
•Action-calls at the end

Aim to make sure that nobody leaves your presentations asking "So, what was all that about?"

5. Keep Them Interested. All the presentation skills that you can acquire and practise have one simple purpose: to defeat Randomity Deprivation Syndrome in your audience. Randomity deprivation syndrome is, in simple English, boredom. It strikes when we are captive in a stuffy auditorium and the person who is speaking has "deprived" us of our basic need for "random" and interesting ideas and experiences. One way to stave off boredom is to identify a problem that your audience has and to let them know that they will only overcome it with your help. The more serious you make the problem, the keener they will be to drop every other thought and pay attention to you.

6. Lead Them. The most effective way to lead an audience through your presentation is to follow them. Only by tuning in to where they are can you efffectively respond by delivering a talk that is relevant to them. This is not an easy thing to do in a one-way presentation where opportunities for feedback are few. You can however do it if you...

•go at their pace. Speed up your speaking rate for subjects that they are familiar with, slow down for subjects that are new.
•watch out for signs that you are no longer getting through, such as whispers, fidgets, yawns
•use "we" rather than "you" ("We have five minutes to look at Bioengineering. Let's start with...")
•find common ground between you ("Like yourselves, I travel a great deal, so I know how hard it is...")
•listen to what they say before your talk, during your talk and afterwards.

7. Be Yourself. The thing you bring most to a presentation and the thing that determines whether an audience will accept your presentation, is You and the way to deliver You is confidence. Confidence means feeling at one with others, knowing that you're in this together and the only outcome is "I'm going to win and so are you." Confident people are well-prepared but not so much that they lose the spark of spontaneity. Confident people avoid doubts, self-criticism, and worry about the impression they're making because they see themselves as able, acceptable, wanted and loved.

If you learn and practise these 7 presentational skills, you will be able to get any audience to do what you want. The effect will be sheer magic.

Honesty...Everybody Got Game!

Authored By Laurie Brandt

I am sick and tired of seeing "Copycatting" of everything. I open my email and what do I see? 20 people trying to sell the same thing. What happened to originality? The sad part is they are all attempting to sell what I and most of us already own. The Internet is too big for everyone to copy each other, come on people if you have real talent, show it, don't copy the next guy…it is boring and stupid.

It is almost like American Idol and hearing songs that are carbon copies of the originals…real talent makes it your own. Use your words, pick a unique ensemble of products (or create your own) and show your true talents. I am taking my time to carefully learn all aspects before I throw out the same old stuff they are doing. Actually I will never do it the way it is currently being done, I am my own person, unique and ORIGINAL!

How many people are really buying this anyway…if you contact me I can show you how to gain the majority of all that for FREE! Now true that is getting a little off the subject of this writing but I just have an overwhelming need to set the record straight.

Who am I? My name is Laurie Brandt I am an HMA Marketing Consultant and I honestly want to help people discover their own "Niches", not copy what is going on and around them. Look at it like this…"you have a Quarter and 40 Gumball machines competing for that 1 Quarter. I chose a different machine to knock off the competition myself and if I put my Software out there with how many other so called "Marketers" what have I got? One Quarter competing against how many Gumball machines? Too many to make any significant money."

Copycat Marketing is just what it says it is…BE ORIGINAL. BE YOU! Can I help you with that? Of course I can…It is all about following a Proven system that teaches individuality, takes you step by step and opens you up to discovery. There is one thing however we all have in common, we want to make MONEY! There is a right and wrong way to go about this. Most of these folks peddling the same set of products will be gone far sooner than you think; a few will make it, survival of the fittest!

Those took there time and learned and that is their "NICHE", now find yours. Everyday my inbox is full of names of folks I have no clue how they are selling the same exact thing as 1000 other people, I could be another name on that list, I have all the Software and can turn you on to that too. But that's not what this is about; I am saying…DO NOT BE

ANOTHER COPYCATTER SEEKING A POT OF GOLD THAT DOES NOT EXIST! I and many others have personally searched for it, and it does NOT exist in Copycatting! You must put in work, learn and you MUST learn from the right people and learn what is right for you.

There are people that will promise you all the answers for a price…you must learn to discern the good from the bad (YES I SAID THAT), some are only interested in filling up their bank accounts with your money, there are a select few that are HONEST and DO NOT overcharge and you get far more than your monies worth. Your ROI is fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time (Not Over Night, In 30 days or any other Hype lies). Any legit, true biz takes time to build and you have to learn it first. I can hand you Software and say go sell now, does NOT mean you are gonna make a lot of money. The odds are you are not!

I am here to tell it the way it really is, NO B.S., NO GAMES, a simple word…HONESTY! I want to help and can and will put you in the right place to find your "Niche", get you properly educated so you do not become "Copycatter so called Marketer" that eventually ends up in debt and no where to turn. If you MUST part with your hard earned money at least do it to where it benefits you and makes YOU money!

I have a Secret Special Report…Totally Free to those of you that want the truth and are Fed up with paying and going NO Where! Please send an email to tcsca1@yahoo.com with "Secret Special Report" in Subject line. I think you will be enlightened and your eyes opened and the light WILL come on! The info is priceless, please share about yourself as I really want to help you and can help you. Rome Was Not Built In A Day! Your Business will not be either but I know a way to make it easier and get you to the correct way to do it.

The ball is in your court! Copycatting or being Yourself with your own talents selling yourself? You decide.

15 Marketing Tips to Increase Your Profits

Authored By SadieJane

1-Focus your website on your visitors and customers desires, not on yourself. Be sure they know what is in it for them, not that you won an award for your business. For example, do not make your ad mostly about what you have done; make it about what benefits the reader will get from buying your products or service.

2-Allow visitors to submit a free classified ad on your web site. Require them to give a valid e-mail address in order to post an ad. You could also require them to return after a set time to resubmit. You could also ask that they give you a reciprocal link in return on their web site.

3-Allow other people to publish your e-zine articles on their web site. Include your website ad and link in each issue you publish. This may also help you increase the number of people who subscribe to your e-zine. You could also allow people to use your full issue for their own e-zine as long as they include your links and signature.

4-When you purchase a product or visit a site and it exceeds your expectations or has great information, e-mail a testimonial to the company. Make sure your statement is detailed. Give them permission to publish it on their web site if they link to your site. For example, under your testimonial you could sign it (your name) Author of (your book) Visit (your site).

5-Give away the e-book or software as a gift to your current customers as a way of letting them know you appreciate their business. Place an ad in the e-book for a new back-end product you're offering. For example, you could say, We Are Giving You This E-book As A Way To Say Thanks For Being One Of Our Loyal Customers.

6-Make money cross-promoting your e-book with other peoples products or services; this is a great easy technique and could double your marketing effort without spending more time and money on your part. For example, you could package your business e-book with a search engine submission service and it is a win, win situation for you both.

7-When you create a new product or service; just give your subscribers a free copy or limited membership. These folks are the most likely to purchase the upgrade and of course pass it on to friends.

8-You can earn residual income from your customers by selling back-end products. If you do not have any, you could sign up to related affiliate programs. For example, you could say Thanks for ordering our product. If you would like to learn more about web marketing, I highly recommend (affiliate product)!

9-Most people want life to be easier and quicker. Give your prospects easy ordering instructions, easy product instructions, etc. For example, you could say, our product comes with step-by-step, easy ordering instructions! Also make sure your website is as easy as possible to navigate.

10-Reward your customers for giving you feedback on your product or service, it could be discounted products, useful software, information products, etc. For example, you could say, Could you please give us any helpful feedback on how to improve our product or service and you will get a free business e-book or software program.

11-Give away a follow-up e-mail course on anything helpful pertaining to your product or service. Include your ad with each lesson. People will buy quicker when they see your ad repeatedly. For example, how many times have you bought something because you have seen the advertisement on TV or in the news paper over a period of a few of weeks?

12-Run a contest or sweepstakes for your customers or visitors, give away free ebooks or reports, cash, t-shirts, caps anything with your company logo. People love freebies, Use short polls or surveys for them to enter and increase your opt in lists. Plus be sure to use email to announce winners and notify them of new contests in the future.

13-Add forums or message boards to your site. It will give you visitors a way to be more active on your website. An article section is also a good idea and gives your customers a reason to return more often.

14-Create urgency for a product or offer, you want buyers to buy now. Tell buyers your offer will not be available again. You can always sell that product again with bonuses or a special priced package. Plus you can put a limit on the actual number of products for sale.

15-Turn your ads into a story or How to articles, people are more likely to continue reading your copy if you do this. People love stories, tall tales and humor, use these in your marketing and on your website.

Joint Venture 101 - The Quickest Way To Build Your eBusiness (Part 1)

Authored By Valeriu S. Popescu

This article reveals the same techniques that many Internet marketing experts uses every day to make millions of dollars in profits - no kidding! In my own opinion it is the most profitable and powerful concept ever used on the Internet field. So, stay close and read it carefully.

Joint Venturing represents the easiest way to start a new business and make more money online and it is the only 100% risk-free marketing technique. You have nothing to loose.

A good joint venture can mean a fortune in a short amount of time. It can mean bringing your product/service to market without spending a cent of your own money. It can mean free media attention, etcetera. All these translate into more sales, more free time and more of everything good!

In a few words, Joint Venturing (JV) means that two or more business people/company partnering up to create a win-win situation for all the parties involved.

No doubts, Joint Venturing can be very tricky. But... if you follow these simple rules, you can be on your way to building your empire out of thin air.

As a Netpreneur, you are in one of these four positions if you want to do a Joint Venture:

1) Have your own product(s) : Joint Venturing with list owners.

In this case, be very carefully because most of the list owners want to do businesses only IF your product is new and has a proven value for their subscribers. The greatest advantage is these lists have educated people and were created for different categories.

There are thousands of list owners out there. You can use many of these lists to leverage their customer assets and split the profits with the owner.

Tip : never try to do a Joint Venturing with list owners that do not match with your product/service! It's just a waste of time...

2) Have your own customer list(s) : Joint Venturing with other product/service development owners.

Basically, this type of Joint Venturing has two big advantages:

- you can make more money than your Joint Venturing partner
(of course, in the 'long run')

- you don't have to develop your own product/service

All you need is to find those products/services which best suit your customers needs. Let me advice you to use a software program, because doing this research manually can take a lot of your time.

3) No product or a customer list: becomes a "Deal Maker".

Yeap, this is true! Without any money on your pocket you can start to generate a steady cash flow. Your job here is to discover the right product for the right list of customers. This way you can charge a percent from both sides for years to come. Also if you were very professional with them, they
will do business with you again and again!

4) Have the knowledge to make money online: become the "Providence Man".

This is perhaps one of the most neglected Joint Venturing methods. Possibly because it requires a lot of your time for research, but you could end-up charging as much as 50% of all direct sales, which by the way, it is a fair amount for your work.

Connect to the Internet and search for great products that have very poor advertising. Identify one product or service, look at their web site, sales letter, order forms, web design and many other things you can improve.

Identify everything is wrong, think how you can improve that, what costs you, how much the profit will skyrocket and than, get the Joint Venturing agreement with the product owner (and the 50% for your work!).

The key to successful Joint Venturing is to work SMART not HARD!

At this point, you probably wonder if it's as simple as I told you. Yes, it is that simple! Never forget that simple ideas can generate better solutions for your problems.

Joint Venturing creates tremendous benefits (profits!) for both parties, without any initial investments, because they rely upon two basic marketing rules:

---> Rule #1: People are eager to buy from someone who they trust and know!

Please read this carefully and more than once. Do it again and again until you'll understand that a Joint Venturing is not possible without this rule.

People are eager to buy from someone who they trust and know!

The most valuable assets you have in your business are the relationships you have built with your customers. Needless to say, all Internet marketing gurus pay their attention and much more to this relationship. They built their online empires because they understand the value of developing and maintaining their own list of satisfied customers.

---> Rule #2: The money is in the LIST! The money is in the backend sale. Don't you ever forget this!

This concept alone is worth 'pure gold'. No matter what kind of ebusiness you run, definetely an educated list of customers represents your best asset. Without a list you cannot survive in these days. Why?

Because it is much more easy to sell again and again to your customers rather than using a 'cold' list. Not to mention the expenses you needed if you want to acquire new customers.

The key to succeed is to constantly enlarge your list of prospects/ customers and to offer them the right product, at the right time, with the right price. Work the BACKEND sales and then repeat the process!

So, what's the next? I would say that you should read this article again, think of your ebusiness potential, and then jump on the Joint Venture 101 - The Quickest Way To Build Your eBusiness, Part 2:

http://www.internetmarketingprofitscenter.com/advertising/articles/venture-2.html

You can find a 3-step blueprint to develop a solid joint venture, a new and free source of internet marketing products and/or services, and a pretty good example on how you can triple your profits from one single move!

How To Claim Your Share Of The Enormous Traffic Available Everyday From Search Engines

Authored By Ed Duvall

If you're going to be a success online marketing your
website and its products or services you really need to
pay attention to how well you optimize your site for the
search engines.

There are literally millions and millions of searches for
information in hundreds of thousands of categories going
on everyday via the search engines. Google, Yahoo, MSN
and the dozens more search engines are a huge source
(over 65%) of the traffic that hits the Internet so don't waste
the opportunity to capitalize on all the visitors they could be
sending your way by not optimizing your site.

But what kind of techniques should you be using to achieve
better search engine popularity and how do you know that what
you're doing is going to get your webpages ranked and send
you more traffic?

After all, more traffic is your main objective, isn't it?

I'll give you a quick overview here, but for in-depth details of
how-to get more search engine traffic you can download my
Free Ebook...

"8 Steps To Claiming YOUR SHARE Of The 'Enormous
Traffic' Available Everyday From Search Engines...Starting
With ZERO Visitors...And Attract 1,000s of Qualified Buyers"

Available from this page: http://www.cashway.com/biz_rm.htm

When most people think of search engine optimization
they're usually thinking in terms of how to optimize each
page with specific criteria aimed at the search engines.
These might include, but are not limited to, keywords,
keyword insertion rates, meta tags, H1 tags and page
content to name a few.

True, that is an important part of SEO, but it is only one
of an integral series of techniques and strategies you
should be employing to get your pages and site noticed
and ranked better by all of the search engines in order
to get Free targeted traffic from them.

So how do you go about getting the SE's to notice your
site?

First look at the big picture. What's your site about and
is it focused on presenting information to your visitors
that is relevant to them. I don't know how many times I've
searched for something using a search engine, went to a
site and found not only didn't it have the info I was looking
for, but it had absolutely no organization about it to help
me find the info even if they had it on their site.

Yikes...! what a waste of time.

Well anyway, getting SE traffic depends on more than just
optimizing just a few pages on your site. With google apply
for it's patent on search engine technology things are going
to become a bit more complicated. Google being the number
1 SE on the planet has decided that highly targeting their
advertising activities to "your" individual needs is going to be
their priority.

They will be recording and analyzing individual searches to
proactively provide the information, products or services they
think you might be wanting.

So how do you prepare your site for Google's new criteria
and changing algorithms?

Google has always said that sites should provide relevant
information for people surfing the net. After all the Internet
was set up as an information database, a library if you will,
that people looking for information could go to in order to
find solutions to their problems. Guess what - it still is and
it will always be that.

So my answer for what to do is to do just what Google has
always said - provide relevant keyword rich content (and lots
of it) on a regular basis, set up reciprocal links, create
backlinks to your site.

All of these are straight forward and easy things to do.

You can get all of the relevant content you want from article
directories, you can easily create reciprocal link opportunities
by going to Google or one of the other search engines and
looking for sites similar to your own and writing the webmaster
and asking for a link and you can create back links to your
site by writing and publishing articles about your niche or
specialty.

The only downside to getting them done is that they are time
consuming unless you know some of the short cuts covered
in my free ebook.

Once you've got this process established you need to test,
monitor and tweak the pages you've optimized as necessary.

The Dangers Of Negative Thinking

Authored By Kevin Quigley

As you have shown an interest in starting a business of your own it would be safe to assume that you want to change your life. You want more money - more control over your life - more respect. But just as we each have a dream, we also have a reality.

Unfortunately for most people, the reality bears no similarity whatsoever to the dream. In many cases, the dream exists as an escape from the reality.

Think now of YOUR reality - the life you lead every day. What do you do? How do you feel as you awake? Do you have any enthusiasm for your way of life? Do you enjoy your work, or are you on welfare? Then ask yourself the important question: Do you resent having to live this way?

If you answer 'yes' to that question, then you are in danger of succumbing to the most destructive human emotion - Hate.

If you hate the life you live, the people you deal with, the actions you are forced to take, then you will find yourself rapidly rushing toward disaster. When you hate, you may as well be drunk! You no longer function in a creative manner. Your mind is geared toward destruction. Instead of aiming to create a new life for yourself and those you love, you will become obsessed with the act of revenge.

The more that you hate the people and situations around you, the more your mind becomes poisoned with the purpose of getting even. Logical thought becomes impossible and hate then becomes a substitute for action. You must learn NOW, to resist the urge to hate. It achieves nothing constructive and it will destroy both you and your dreams of
success. As Ghandi said..."An eye for an eye just makes the whole world go blind."

Take a good look at your way of life. Do you always have to make do with what you have got, because you can't afford a replacement? Are you always having to put off paying bills until next week? Have you never enough money to enjoy yourself? Are you unhappy with the area in which you live?

You may find that you are regularly having to write a check on Monday and hope that you will be able to cover it by Thursday. Or you may just be sick of the daily grind of early mornings, or the regular nightshift. If most of these apply to you, the you probably hate living this way. So now make a POSITIVE effort to achieve success. Only through positive endevour and thought will you achieve your goal.

Although your current way of life is hard, think not how to get rid of it, but how to REPLACE it with a better way of life. Think SUCCESS - not revenge. Assess what you resent about your life now.

You may even resent the things that you would normally enjoy, were your circumstances different. Occassions like Christmas, birthdays, and Easter can can be trying times when you have no money to spend. Children don't understand the restrictions of a tight budget, and it can cause great
distress to a parent who is unable to give his child the gift, or day out, that they would like. Now imagine the difference in these circumstances when you have achieved success and you are wealthy.

There is no harm in imagining the difference your wealth will make to your lifestyle - but approach it lightheartedly.

Say to yourself: I will work to be a success so that I can tell my boss where to stick his job! And so I can see the look on the Bank managers face when I tell him not to bother offering me overdraft facilities anymore! This attitude is positive, but don't hate the way things are, or the people
it involves. That would only make things worse. You will have plenty of time to reflect on your past when you are wealthy!

These things that make you miserable and depressed will be all behind you when you put the secrets of success to work. Imagine life without all these trying times. You will be able to enjoy Christmas, and give your kids what they want. That squillion function, water-resistant, solar-powered gizmo (that they ALWAYS wanted) will be a drop in the ocean to you!

Many of the people who buy books on starting a business actually don't bother starting up. They can't imagine themselves ever running their own business and earning Unlimited amounts of money. They never see things how they CAN be - only how they are. Don't make this mistake! KNOW what you want, KNOW how to get it, SEE how it WILL be, and then GO FOR IT!!

Yours in success.
Kevin Quigley.

10 Ways To Increase Sales By Promoting Yourself

Authored By Eugenijus Sakalauskas

People will feel more comfortable purchasing your
products if you give them a little information about
yourself or business. The information could be your
profile, employee profiles, overall business history,
education credentials, awards you've won, etc.
Below are 10 ways you can use to promote yourself.

1. Teach a free chat room class on a subject related
to your business. You could install a chat room on
your web site or use a free one from another web site.
Before the class starts tell them a little about yourself.

2. Publish a free e-zine. Use some of the extra space
in your e-zine to write about yourself or business. This
could be called "A Note From the Editor".

3. Publish a section on your web site called "About
Us". With your information you could also include
pictures. This shows people your not hiding behind
your business.

4. Write an article on your area of expertise. Include
a resource box at the end of the article. You can add
information about yourself in the resource box. E-mail
the article to web sites or e-zines that accept article
submissions.

5. Create and giveaway a free ebook. In the ebook
include a section called "About The Author". Also,
include an advertisement for your business.

6. Participate in online communities like newsgroups,
discussion boards, e-mail discussion lists and chat
rooms. You will meet many people and in return they
will get to know you.

7. Donate your time, products, or services to charities.
You can list the charities you've contributed to on your
web site. This will show visitors that you and your
business care about others.

8. Promote yourself offline; teach a free class offline,
speak at business seminars, join a business club or
association. Assemble fundraisers for charity. These
are just few ideas to promote yourself offline.

9. Offer free consulting to your visitors. You could do
it via e-mail or phone. They will get to know you and
feel more comfortable buying your products.

10. Publish information about yourself and business
history in your ad copy. While people are reading it
they begin to trust you and your business. Don't over
do it though, you want to keep them interested in
your product.

Spam Filters-Why are they harmful for Marketers and How to Avoid Them

Authored By Arindam Chakraborty

Have you seen this text often in websites these days?

'I ABSOLUTELY HATE SPAM and I will NEVER rent or sell your personal

information to anyone anytime. Period'

Why do marketers use this text block at the end of opt-in form?Simple. They are afraid that their subscribers might be come forgetful and might accuse them of spamming, even though they are legitimate email marketers.

How does it affect you?

'Spam is one of the most irritating words these days, especially for email marketers. It not only affects those who are at the receiving end but also those who SEND emails. To combat irritating junk spam filters of different Internet Service Providers (ISP) are outdoing each other in evolving out new ways to filter junk email. While this is good in weeding out real junk, even the legitimate email marketers are affected by it, because spam filters sometimes filter out legitimate emails as spam. So what happens is that if you have a large list and a lot of your emails are filtered out chances are that only 1% of your subscribers are reading your message.

The great 'spam' triggers!

While there are many words that will trigger spam filters(e.g., sexual phrases, money making opportunity),here are the most common "trigger" words that you may be using in your ezine:
*e-zine
*amazing
*cancel at any time
*check or money order
*congratulations
*dear friend
*e-mail marketing
*for only ($)
*for free
*great offer
*guarantee
*increase sales
*order now
*promise you
*risk free
*special promotion
*this is not spam
*to be removed
*unsubscribe
*winner

How to BEAT 'em

There are two ways to beat the spam filters. One is the hardest way to avoid all these "trigger" words, which I know is quite impossible. For example, when you are recommending a product to your prospects you might be tempted to use a "trigger" word like 'great offer" or "amazing" product, both of which can trigger spam filters.

I tell you of an easier way to avoid spam filters. Your second choice is to disguise these words and phrases in clever ways by inserting keyboard symbols within them and/or replacing a letter in them with a symbol. The trick is not to make it too cryptic - you want your readers to be able to understand what you're saying. For example, in my e-zine, I use "fr*ee" for free.

Some spam filters might penalize you for doing this in order to decrease your spam points, I can tell you that the points this tactic costs you penalize you much less than using the words and phrases themselves.

It's always a good idea to test out your e-zine before you send it out. The good news is that you can do it for free. Before I send out any article or e-zine to my prospects, I make sure I use Lyris's free Content Checker at http://www.lyris.com/resources/contentchecker/ to check if my e-zine will get filtered out or not. The content checker works based on the criteria on which Spam Assassin filters out email messages. It tells that your message scores a certain number of points. If the number of points is low, then it's good. If it's too high, it's time for some revision, because a high Spam Assassin point of 5 or more means that your message is doomed to be filtered out even before it reaches your subscribers.

The report will tell you exactly which words are costing you points.

Usually you should only be concerned if your score is over 5 points. If so, you can either delete those words or disguise them, as I mentioned above. Now suppose that you have checked out your message through the content checker but have found that your message has a lot of "trigger" words. Use a free tool that I recommend. All you need is just enter your article and not only does the tool format your article but also insert "special characters" within the 'spam trigger words" so that your e-zine doesn't get filtered.

I test and check each and every issue of my e-zine with this free content checker and formatter tool before I send out my e-zines. No wonder subscribers get to read most of my articles and promos that I send out. That's why I'm a happy publisher.

Sidenote: Regardless of whatever tools you use, it's still pretty important to request your subscribers to whitelist your email address or domain name. If your subscribers care about your emails, they should have no problem doing this small thing. It will ensure that even if sometimes you feel compelled to use those "trigger words" in your e-zine, your e-zine will still reach your subscriber's inbox.

The IRA Owned LLC, A Great Tool for Investing Tax Free

Authored By Jessica McGlothlin

"So many investors are tired of watching their retirement accounts dwindle away from the lackluster performance of the stock market, while the value of their home and surrounding areas increase in the double digits," said Marco Caporale, President and CEO of Independent Executive Management, LLC.

Although using your retirement account to purchase real estate does offer the potential for two to three times the annual appreciation of traditional stocks, it does come with a lot of regulations and severe penalties, if not correctly applied. That is why the right account has to be set up.
If you read this far you are thinking, "All I have to do is open a self-directed IRA." However, to truly set your IRA free, there are a couple of simple steps that will give you checkbook control of your IRA and profound asset protection that you may not otherwise enjoy.

First of all, most custodians, even true self directed custodians, require massive amounts of paperwork and numerous hoops to jump through in order for you to invest your IRA money in an "alternative" investment. This costs you time and money (custodian fees). To more effectively use your IRA, your IRA will instead place all of its assets into a limited liability company (LLC). Therefore, there is only one asset to manage by the custodian and this means fewer fees to you.

Why an LLC? The LLC gives great asset protection and tremendous tax advantages. The LLC enjoys the asset protection of a corporation while it can be taxed as a partnership. Partnership taxation is great because the LLC itself will not pay taxes. Instead, the owner of the LLC pays taxes as if they earned the income. Who is the owner of the LLC? That's right, your IRA (a tax- exempt entity). Therefore, you can maximized your investment and pay no taxes, what a deal.

Is the concept of an IRA owned LLC legal? Yes, and the case Swanson VS. The Commissioner in 1996 cleared up any doubts that anybody had about this issue. In this case the court rejected the IRS position that the business structure constituted a prohibited transaction. The IRS was so wrong that the judge had the IRS refund legal fees to Mr. Swanson.

How can you create this magnificent business structure to increase money for your retirement years? Here are the simple steps:

1. Open a self-directed IRA.
2. Transfer your IRA funds to the new, self-directed IRA account.
3. Establish a LLC.
4. Apply for your LLC's employer's identification number (EIN).
5. Set up a brokerage account or bank account for the LLC.
6. Instruct the custodian to place the IRA assets into the LLC brokerage account or bank account.
7. Start investing in what you know.

The Value of Associations

Authored By Tim Whiston

This past week I ran into a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in quite some time. It was good to see him again, at least for a few minutes.

Then I remembered why I stopped associating with him in the first place.

The guy has a big heart, and you can't help but love him. Unfortunately, he is also an incessant whiner.

He is always going on about how he doesn't make enough money with his job, and how things never seem to go right for him in life. No matter what you say to him there is no shaking his loser mantality. He has chosen to be the victim in life, and to be quite honest I think he enjoys it.

But it doesn't stop there. It's not enough for him to mope and complain about his own life, he does his best to bring the people around him down as well.

He asked me how my 'little internet business' was going. Remember it's been a long time since we had spoken last.

I certainly didn't want to rub anything in here, so I just told him politely that things were moving along and that I had quit my job as a delivery driver last year.

I could see the irritation in his face. This guy was genuinely distraught over my success.

He gave a grunt and said "Well good luck."

But he didn't really mean 'Good luck'. What he meant was 'I hope you fall flat on your face and have to go back to your old job so I can feel better about who I am'.

He's a loser because he projects nothing but negative energy into his own life, and he wants everyone around him fail and be miserable alongside him. No thanks.

I spent just a couple more minutes chatting with him, then told him I had to run.

I really do wish him the best, but I'm certainly not going to spend my precious time letting him sap the life out of me with his pity party no-hoper mentaility. There are plenty of positive, success-minded people for me to hang out with and that's where I prefer to spend my time.

There is a lesson to all this, and here it is.

Think of the most successful person you know. For our purposes today, let's define success as financial and emotional prosperity. This should be someone you know on a personal level, and not a character you've read about in your favorite business or glamour magazine.

Now, ask yourself who this highly productive individual associates with. Chances are the group of folks you identify with this question won't be a bunch of lazy, negative, self-pity freaks.

Now try the same excercise with the least successful individual you know. It's not too likely that your selection for "least successful" is a person who surrounds themselves with positive, productive human beings.

The kind of people we surround ourselves with will have a profound effect on our thought patterns. Since it's safe to say our reality starts with our thoughts, the value of our personal associations can hardly be overstated.

To spend the majority of our time around people who offer us doubt and discouragement is to limit ourselves to a bleak shadow of our full potential. Alternatively, by mingling with those who project confidence and optimism, we are sure to absorb an attitude of determination and tenacity. It's good practice to socialize with individuals who reflect our aspirations.

People who want to whine and complain about how unfair life is, and how they just can't seem to 'get a break' are bad company. Especially when these people want to project their misery and negativity onto you.

One of the best things you can do for your own success and happiness is give these losers the boot and find some happier, more productive people to associate with.

How Much Importance Do You Place on Your Skin and Toxins?

Authored By Alfred Jones

I am sure that most of you will know that your skin is the largest organ of your body, the skin can absorb chemicals in to your blood stream which in turn, will be distributed through out your body system.

Many people assume that your skin is watertight and therefore is a protective cover, well it certainly is a protective cover, but it is unable to keep out chemicals either toxic, or non - toxic. That is why there are such medicinal patches like Hormone Replacement Therapy, or Nicotene patches to help you stop smoking, the chemicals are absorbed slowly through the skin.

Most homes and bathrooms are loaded with toxic chemicals, the first one to think of, is your Deodorant, these are designed to penetrate your skin, it has also been suggested that this is the link to why women's breast cancer rate is on the increase, along with many other chemically induced illnesses and irritations.

I know that a large number of so called experts deny this theory, perhaps some of them have vested interests and sometimes the research has been sponsored by the companies that manufacture these toxic products.
A recent study showed that the connection between chemically loaded deodorants and breast cancer were examined and it was found that a disproportionately high incidence of breast cancer occurs in the area where deodorants are applied, a scientist described the area as the upper outer quadrant of the breast.

Antiperpirants and deodorants contain a high percentage of chemicals known to have a number of toxic effects, which includes, aluminium salts, parabens (phydroxybenzoic acid) phthalates, butylated hydroxytoluene, and many others with scientific names that have never been studied for their long term effects or safety.

Why don't we do something about it, well unfortunately we are all a little apathetic, most of these toxins are low dose and have an effect in the long term, if they don't kill you the minute that you use them, or they don't burn you or make you itch, or bring you out in a rash, why bother, its a long way down the track before anything will happen, so no demands are made upon the manufacturers of these products.

It was brought to my attention recently, a product in the United Kingdom with the brand name "Boots" a large old established Pharmaceutical company, it was made up of the following ingredients, Aqua, Cocamidoproply Betane, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Sodium Chloride, Benzyl Alcohol, PEG-6 Cocamide, Citric Acid, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Parfum, Sodium Methylparaben.

What do you think the product was for? It was "Tearless, Baby Shampoo". We are using this on our small children.

What can you do about it? For a start, you can gradually change the products that you currently use, just do it one at a time as they run out, shop around and you will find that there are toxic and chemical free Antiperspirants, Deodorants, Shampoos, Hair Conditioners, Toothpastes, Soaps, Body Lotions, Moisturising Creams, just stop feeding your skin with all these toxins, when you really do not have to do yourself long term harm.

If you visit my websites there is more information on this subject, you can contact me, and I will forward you a free recipe to make your own Shampoo and Conditioner, that has no toxins or dangerous chemicals. We also have natural products that will help to restore your immune system.
Any questions you have please email me and I will try to answer you as soon as I can.

The Trend to Blend

Authored By Charlie Page

Using a combination of old and new marketing techniques increases your marketing power...

Now that summer is ending, more and more people want to begin their own online business. Of course, there is no shortage of marketers eager to 'help' them get started. In many cases, these marketers are offering true advice, telling their readers what has really worked for them.

Sadly, there are many situations where the person giving the advice hasn't really made any money online, yet is perfectly prepared to tell you how to find your fortune online in only 30 days or less!

The question becomes 'what works in the real world?'

Here's something I recommend to my Directory of Ezines customers. Surprise...it's not ezine advertising! But it's the best way I know to create results now, and it's what I would tell my daughter to do if she needed
to start a business today.

If you get nothing else from this article, at least you will have seen something real, because this works almost every time.

There are only six simple steps to make this program work.

1.Become a ClickBank affiliate. It's free.

2.Find a hot selling product on the ClickBank marketplace.

3.Use a free tool like Good Keywords (or your brain)
and create a list of keywords that describe the
product. Good Keywords is free at
  http://www.goodkeywords.com

4.Create a Google AdWords campaign for a low cost
  keyword using your affiliate link.

5.Watch as you make some sales.

6.Repeat with other keywords and Yahoo (formerly Overture) too.

The total time to do this once is (realistically) about 4 hours. Doing the second and subsequent keywords is about 10 minutes. The money cost is about $75. Most people can afford to do this.

This is a much better use of your $75 than some eBook or even a membership to the Directory of Ezines if you just have to make some money right now.

HINT: If you don't know how to do Google AdWords, look for articles about Google AdWords before buying any product that you might not understand or be able to use. Perry Marshall is the best person I know for AdWords, and his site is www.perrymarshall.com or you can go to Google and search for "articles by Perry Marshall" without the quotes.

There are about a zillion ezine article directories online now. The one I check first is Ezinearticles.com.

While Google Ad Words is certainly the 'flavor of the month', I'm seeing that a blend of old and new techniques works best. Here's what I mean.

Great marketing consists of a solid marketing foundation blended with today's most innovative techniques. I'll follow this with a quick example of
'blended marketing'.

1. Build your solid foundation with these tools.

Email marketing
Ezine advertising
GREAT customer service
Posting on forums
Asking for referrals
Publishing your own ezine
Creating a 'viral' eBook or report as a giveaway
Search engine positioning
Having a powerful follow-up system using autoresponders

2. Now for the new stuff.

This is what's working now and some of your competitors
aren't there yet. Moving fast works well here.

Google Ad Words - You'd be shocked at how few people do this.
Buying co-registration names for a penny each (if opt-in proof exists)
Joint venturing on a blog with others to create a super-blog
Using auctions to sell non-auction goods like monthly subscriptions
Using lead generation pages instead of sales letters
Using multiple landing pages based on each main benefit of your product
Running a regular contest to give away your best product
Surveying other people's lists to sell your product
Using Pay Per Click to test eBook or website names

Now, a brief example of blended marketing.

Let's say you've written an eBook and need a killer title, want to establish a mailing list fast, and generate some pre-sales activity. You could go about it using any one method, but blending several old and new
methods can increase results.

For example, you could buy a Google Ad Words campaign and ezine advertising using a mix of headlines that contained the proposed titles of the book. Send the clicks you get to a page that simply offers visitors a
chance to get a free copy of the book if they help you choose the best title. Give them three titles to choose from, have them leave their name and email address, clearly agreeing to receive follow-up emails. They WILL
leave a real address because they want the book if they win.

Now you are using Google Ad Words, ezines and autoresponders blended with contests, lead generation pages, and building a mailing list too.

Using multiple tools can lead to much better results than only using one tool at a time. It is important to use new techniques, and perfectly reasonable to get very excited about their potential. Yet, it is vital to
add these layers on top of a solid foundation. Do this and your business will not only thrive now, but will also stand the test of time.

You're Not linking, They're Not Coming!

Authored By William Nabaza

You're not linking, they're not coming!

Large companies tend to spend huge amount of money on the web. They put in so much with banner ads and did all they can not to mention a single external link on their site. They're really missing it big time.

A link is anything that mentions your web address on another. It can be a straightforward www text link, a banner or a button. It's getting hard these days to be in the top 10 on the search engines but most search engines base their position of your site on their listing by the way you appear on most sites. Well, once you give something, it will all return back to you. Why not give your link? Trade links with them and they'll will all come.

So if you're hesitant to give away links, you're missing a lot of traffic. On traditional marketing you make every effort not to mention something about your competitors, but on the web, you'll need to link to the same kind, meaning your competitors. For example, if you're on web design business like me, you would trade links with them and appear alongside in the search engine. The secret is linking. Now the question is who's among the famous web that contains millions of links: Altavista, Lycos, and Hotbot. It's simply because they took the time to link.

They are basically two types of links: reciprocal and non-reciprocal.

Reciprocal links are links based upon an informal agreement between site owners to display each other's links on each one. The agreement will last as long as each one continues to reciprocate or return the favor of the link. It can be a week, a month or a year.

There are ways to do a reciprocal link and they are as follows:

1. Web Rings - are small group of sites that revolves around a certain button or icon displayed on each participating sites. Each one takes turn randomly in displaying a link from different sites. By this way you are able to get an exposure right from your same category site. go: Nabaza.com Webrings

2. Banner Links - It can be a 426 x 60, 213 x 30 or a vertical banner. A good site that offers banner exchange is this one myBigMoney.com Banner Exchange A lot of viral business exchanges can also be yours go here: Nabaza.com Traffic Exchangers

3. Link Button - sized at 88 x 96 pixels and is usually animated. It signifies that your site is either "Powered By", "Managed By" or "Networked Sites of." Others runs each links on a contest, if you win you get 500+ additional exposures. go here: Nabaza.com Directory

Please refer to my "Highlights section".

4. Text Links - This one is easy. I see webmasters now are creating multiple web sites that are in a series of links to each one. You can also reference your links in this manner: www.Nabaza.com/search/

It's a good and ethical way of referring a web site to anyone if you like yourself to be credited. You can create any reference id you like as long as there's no space inserted.

5. Self-replicating Links:

Above links will take you to a sign-up page that will lead you to create your unique URL in a snap. It implements the principle of (MLM) multi-level marketing which I have discussed in my other article: "Multi-Level Marketing on the web" and also it would be an honor for me if you join me as your upline. :-)

6. Award Links - Award-giving web sites that promises their icon without any cash equivalent. It's a good way to decorate your site and boast of your excellence.

7. Ad Swapping - These are for those who are writing and publishing their own newsletters. It's an agreement or kind of payment that if you accept my ad for free I'll display your ad as well. I accept ad swapping from publishers.

Non-reciprocal links, on the other hand, can be a good source of hits for your site as well.

You need to actively encourage your visitors to link to your site by giving them instructions on how to do it. On your site, provide a "How to Link to Your site?" page. Create banners, buttons, or a cgi script that will make their life easy. On your part, you have to constantly develop and maintain a good site and give a reward to someone who will link to you, one example is this:
http://www.LinkBuff.com

If your site is really excellent in design, very useful and is always updated; chances are, people will really link to your site even without your knowledge. On my site, I accomplish this actively by constantly submitting articles like the one's you're reading. Also, most importantly, is you religiously submit your site to search engines and directories. Submit it in one easy way. http://www.Nabaza.com/submit.htm

Advantages of Linking:

If you do this one, you'll be surprise at the extra traffic that links from other sites can generate.

Whenever, I do a search on any search engine, I see sites that always refer back to my site. These sites have subscriber base of 140,000 and up. Thanks Newslinx.

You need not encourage duplication but you need to be linked.

How to do it?

Send individual emails, not mass mails. I won't exchange links with sites that sends out an email containing a header: Hello, Fellow webmaster or one that has a mail extractor signature. I need someone on that same category. If someone doesn't take his time in writing me a customized email then it's not that important.

1. Target

I need competitors that will become co-op sites with me. I know that I've gathered everything essential to the web but there are sites out there that have gathered even more so I need to exchange links with them to complement my site. Don't be afraid to lose your visitors, if your content isn't good enough to get them to return. You never really "had" them in the first place.

2. Do unto others what you want them to do to you.

Be polite in your e-mails. Don't assume that you know it all when it comes to a particular site. Treat everyone as your friend and potential customers. Who knows? It might be even before you finish your personalized email, someone already linked to you. Give and it shall be given to you.

3. Dedicate a place for all links.

Not unless you want to fill up whole first page with links and exceed that 24K ideal file size, you can have a whole page of links that will accommodate all of them. Aside from your FFA page, create a page for them complete with categories and description. Tell them politely that their link will go to this special page just for them. For example, I have FFA page, Merchant Links, and Premium Links. Premium Links section is the page intended for reciprocal link.

4. Don't associate with bad sites.

Protect your reputation online and do exchange links with the same category as your site. If you exchange links with someone different from yours, you might end up getting customers that will be dissatisfied with your page. However, you can still accommodate them in your "Web Directory" or "FFA" page.
