Do you know how many people visit the online news center, The Drudge Report?

Well, in the passed year 3,437,004,196 visited The Drudge Report site.

In the last 31 days 222,538,164 visited this site.

Impressive isn't it?

I am sure we would all like to have a continual stream of visitors coming to our site.

How do they get there? What's the magic ? Can you do it too?

That depends...

Yes, you can get people to your site.

You can do this by a variety of different means:

You can drive traffic to the site, use techniques which involve expired domains, run solo ads, exhange links, exchange banners and take advantage of every viral advertising tool out there that you can reasonabley get your hands on.

Many of them work.

It is not likely that you will end up with the huge numbers generated by The Drudge Report but you can get traffic to your site. In fact I am doing that right now.

Piggy Backing.

Why am I writing an article to you about the Drudge Report Some of you may read the Drudge Report. Many of you may never have heard of it and some of you may think I am nuts and rambling.

Not really, I am doing what is called Piggy Backing. I am piggy backing on the Drudge site name.

I am writing an article and posting it on my website, TheWebPro Times and I am linking it to the Drudge Report.

How am I doing that?

Well, when I finish writing this article, I will submit it via various ezine submit programs and hope to get it spidered by the search engines.

Search engines are looking for interesting content and the Drudge Report contains interesting content ( World News) . Now so does the WebPro Times.

Are you beginning to get the picture?

There is more than one way to skin a cat.

There are lots of search engines waiting for you to write them something that perks their interest.

There are a lot of ezine article submit places and you can submit for free or a use a paid service.

Google Us.

You can see what I mean and how this works Google Phil Basten and see what you get?

You will see article after article that Phil has written, some of which have our sites listed under them and some of them take you to completely different sites that we don't own or have anything to do with.

What's happening here? Sites are piggy backing on Phil's name through the articles he has submiited. Do we mind? Heck no, When people are looking through these sites or looking to read one of Phil's articles, they wil find us and our sites and Voila! We have some of that coveted traffic.

The point is: You need to write some articles of your own about your own business on the net. Take some time each week to submit an article to the ezine submitters You will be surprised how your traffic and business can
grow from this simple exercise.

Start piggy backing today. You'll be glad you did.
