Believe it Or Not, Safelists Do Work!
Authored By Rebecca Beasley
If you've never used safelists, then it's high time you tried it. There are hundreds or even thousands of safelists online and they all are pretty much
the same, but if you do a search on Google you're bound to find some good ones to use.
One thing you'll need to do right away is get a good online email account, or actually you'll need two. One is for your list email and the other is for contact email. Some don't allow you to use hotmail or yahoo, but some will. If in doubt, you can get a free email account (or two) Here.
You can also people to add you to their contact list. You want them to add you because when they do, they can receive your emails. So just say something like this.
Subject:Please Be My Friend
Dear [first_name], (use the field that the safelists has for this)
This is not an ad. I just want to make friends with as many people
as possible and share ideas and help each other to build our own
businesses. It doesn't matter if you're in my business or not. I'm
willing to help you anyway, and I would also like to know that you
will help me when I need it. Would you like to be friends?

Now send it and set up one more filter, but this time using the
word "friendship" set it up for anything with friendship in the
subject to go to a folder you can name "contacts."
When people email you with the subject "friends" make sure that
you email them back promptly and ask what they are doing, ask
them to send you a link, and go there and check out their site.
Email them and offer suggestions for ways to improve their...?
Don't come across as a knowit all though. If their site is good,
tell them so. Give them something to help them promote it.
That's where you can get referrals. Send them a safelist url,
or a traffic exchange you're using. Or anything else that's helpful
for them to get more traffic or make their site look better.
When they see that you're not sending them ads, you'll build
trust. Keep emailing them and ask questions about their kids
or their family and just be friends, and before you know it you'll
have built a lot of good relationships, and once in a while you
can invite them to join your opportunity. To get respect, you
have to give it. You'll see it's one of the best things you've
ever done for your business.
Feel free to copy and keep this message, just please leave my
resource field intact if you use this article.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Beasley
